Many visitors come to Jerome specifically to experience the Caduceus Cellars tasting room, a must-visit for wine lovers and fans of Maynard James Keenan. The tasting room is a major draw and an easy anchor for a day spent wandering Jerome’s steep, historic streets.
On a previous visit, the Puscifer Store was also part of the Jerome experience, but it has since relocated to Cottonwood, Arizona. Even so, Jerome remains a popular stop for those exploring the Verde Valley wine scene and nearby attractions.
After wine tasting at Caduceus Cellars and taking in the town’s galleries, shops, and viewpoints, we found ourselves looking for a great place to eat—and that’s how we discovered Clinkscale Bar & Grill.
Just a short walk away, Clinkscale turned out to be an ideal spot for brunch in Jerome, AZ. With its laid-back vibe, friendly service, and patio overlooking the Verde Valley, it’s a perfect place to slow down and refuel.
We ordered the brioche French toast and eggs Benedict, both excellent choices and exactly what we wanted after a morning of exploring. It was the kind of brunch that makes a day trip feel complete and turns a good visit to Jerome into a memorable one.
The food was so good we ended up going back later the same day for drinks and appetizers.
What to Drink at The Clinkscale Bar & Grill
The Clinkscale has something for just about everyone when it comes to drinks. There’s a solid wine list, well-made cocktails, and even mocktails if you’re not drinking but still want something fun. It’s the kind of place where you can just order what sounds good and not overthink it.
That said, we went straight for the Arizona beer flight. We love craft beer, and this was a great way to try a few local brews in one sitting.
