The Silos & Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas

If you’re heading to Waco, Texas, there’s a very good chance Magnolia Market at the Silos is already on your list—and honestly, it should be. We’ve been big fans of Chip and Joanna Gaines ever since Fixer Upper first started, so finally getting to see Magnolia in real life felt like one of those “wow, we’re actually here” moments.

The whole place just has a good vibe. It’s busy, sure, but not stressful. People are happy, kids are running around, and everyone seems genuinely excited to be there.

Everyone Has a story worth telling

Walking Around Magnolia Market

Magnolia Market is exactly what you hope it’ll be. It’s beautiful without feeling stuffy, and you don’t feel rushed while you’re walking through. Every corner has something you want to pick up—or at least take a picture of.

The home decor is very Joanna: cozy, neutral, well-made, and actually practical. Even if you don’t buy much, it’s still fun just to wander around and take it all in. After watching Fixer Upper for years, seeing everything in person made us appreciate just how much thought went into the brand.

The Little Life Quotes Around Magnolia

One thing we didn’t expect—but really loved—were the little life quotes scattered around Magnolia. They’re tucked into random spots as you’re walking around, and they kind of make you slow down for a second and actually read them.

The Good Ol days

Nothing over-the-top, just simple, thoughtful reminders that feel very on-brand for Magnolia.

It’s a small detail, but it adds to the whole experience and makes the space feel more personal instead of just a shopping destination.

You’ll probably find yourself stopping for photos… or at least nodding like, “yeah, that one’s actually pretty good.”

The world needs who you were made to be

While we were in Waco, we also made a point to swing by the original Magnolia Market on Bosque Boulevard to grab a few photos. Even though it’s no longer the main shop, it still feels like such an important part of the Magnolia story.

It was fun seeing where it all started and snapping a few pictures—especially knowing how far Chip and Joanna have come since those early days. If you’re a Fixer Upper fan, it’s a quick stop that’s totally worth it, even if it’s just for photos and a little nostalgia.

The Shopping Is Dangerous (In a Good Way)

Let’s be honest—the shopping at the Silos is really good. It’s one of those places where you suddenly understand why your bag is heavier than when you walked in. There are great gift ideas, fun kitchen stuff, and plenty of things you’ll convince yourself you “need.”

What we loved most was how relaxed everything felt. People were sitting on the lawn, hanging out, and just enjoying being there. It didn’t feel like a quick stop—it felt like a place you actually want to spend some time.

Food Trucks, Pizza & Cupcakes (The Important Part)

All that shopping works up an appetite, and thankfully the food trucks at Magnolia make it easy. We grabbed pizza from one of the food trucks, and it was exactly what we wanted—simple, filling, and easy to eat while sitting outside.

And then there’s Silos Baking Co. Yes, the line can be long. Yes, it’s still worth it. We grabbed cupcakes, and they were seriously good. Soft cake, perfect frosting, and a solid reminder that dessert is always a good idea.

Final Thoughts

Visiting Magnolia Market at the Silos in Waco, Texas lived up to the hype for us. Between being longtime Fixer Upper fans, the great shopping, the food trucks, and those cupcakes, it was one of those places that’s just genuinely fun to experience.

Honestly, the only thing that could’ve made the visit even better is if Chip and Joanna had just casually walked by while we were there.

If you’re anywhere near Waco, make the stop. Worst case? You leave with a cupcake and a few things you didn’t plan on buying. Best case? You leave already talking about when you’d go back.
