This laid-back brewery is right in the heart of downtown Williams and feels like the perfect mix of local hangout and traveler pit stop. Cold beer, hearty food, and a relaxed Arizona vibe? Say less.
A Local Favorite in the Heart of Williams
Grand Canyon Brewing + Distillery has been part of the Williams scene for years, and it shows. The space is warm and welcoming, with rustic touches, plenty of seating, and a casual atmosphere that works just as well for families as it does for road-weary travelers looking to unwind.
It’s an easy walk from many downtown shops and hotels, making it a natural stop after a day of sightseeing or before hopping back on Route 66.

Sometimes the best finds on a trip aren’t the ones you plan — they’re the ones you stumble upon by accident. That’s exactly how we ended up at Grand Canyon Brewing + Distillery in Williams, Arizona. We weren’t actively looking for it, but once we realized it was just a short walk from our hotel, it felt like a no-brainer. A local brewery, close by, after a long day of travel? Yes, please.
What We Ate in Williams
At the Williams location, we ordered the meat lovers pizza, and it was exactly what we were in the mood for. Loaded with meat and plenty hearty, it’s the kind of pizza that’s perfect after a long day of driving or sightseeing. The crust held up well under all the toppings, and it was filling without being overly heavy.

It’s also a great option if you’re sharing — easy to split, satisfying, and pairs really well with a cold beer. If you’re visiting Grand Canyon Brewing in Williams and want something simple, comforting, and guaranteed to hit the spot, this is a solid choice.
What We Drank
Of course, we couldn’t visit Grand Canyon Brewing without trying a couple of their beers.
The Prickly Pear IPA was a fun one to try and felt very on-brand for Arizona. It had a subtle sweetness from the prickly pear without being overpowering, balanced nicely by the hops. It was refreshing, easy to drink, and a great option if you like IPAs with a little something extra.
The Black Iron IPA leaned more classic. Bold, hop-forward, and full of flavor, this one is a good choice if you’re an IPA fan who likes something a bit stronger and more traditional. It paired really well with the pizza and made for a solid contrast to the prickly pear.
Between the two, we loved getting a mix — one a little adventurous, one more familiar — and both felt like great representations of what Grand Canyon Brewing does well.

We Liked It So Much, We Went Back (In Page, AZ)
Here’s the real sign that we enjoyed Grand Canyon Brewing — two days later, we ended up at their Page, Arizona location.
The Page spot has a slightly different feel than the Williams location, but the experience was just as solid. Same quality beer, same relaxed atmosphere, and a menu that hits the spot after a day of exploring places like Lake Powell or Glen Canyon.

What We Ate at the Page location
We didn’t overthink our order — we went straight for classic brewery comfort food, and it all hit the spot.
The Canyon Burger was a standout. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right, it’s one of those burgers that doesn’t need anything fancy to be good. Served with a side that made it even better, it’s a solid, dependable choice if you’re craving a burger after a long day of exploring.

We also ordered the Pulled pork sandwich, and it was a solid choice. The pork was tender, flavorful, and piled high on a soft bun. Smoky, filling, and not overly saucy — just good, no-frills brewery food done right.

What We Drank in Page
When we visited the Page location, we switched things up a bit and tried a couple of different beers.
The Horseshoe Bend Ale was an easy drinker and a great choice after a day of exploring. Smooth, balanced, and not too heavy, it’s the kind of beer you can relax with without overthinking it. Perfect for winding down after being out in the Arizona heat.
The Prickly Pear Wheat Ale was light, refreshing, and subtly sweet. The prickly pear flavor came through without being overpowering, making it a great option if you’re not in the mood for something hoppy. This one felt especially fitting for Page and paired well with a casual, laid-back meal.
Both beers felt refreshing and approachable, and it was fun trying different styles at a second Grand Canyon Brewing location.

Between the Williams visit and the Page stop, it was clear that Grand Canyon Brewing is consistent across locations, which makes it an easy recommendation if you’re road-tripping through Northern Arizona.
Final Thoughts
After visiting two different Grand Canyon Brewing + Distillery locations on the same trip, it’s easy to say this place earned a spot on our must-visit list. The Williams location was a happy accident — close to our hotel, relaxed, and exactly what we needed that night — while the Page location proved that the experience wasn’t a one-off. Different vibe, same quality food, solid beer, and an atmosphere that just works.
What really stood out was the consistency. No matter the location, you get good beer, satisfying food, and a laid-back setting that feels perfect for road trips and Arizona adventures.
After two great visits, it’s officially on our list to check out the Flagstaff and Kingman, Arizona locations next. If they’re anything like Williams and Page, we’re pretty confident they’ll be worth the stop.
If you’re traveling through Northern Arizona and see a Grand Canyon Brewing on the map, take it as a sign — pull over, grab a beer, and enjoy the moment.
