We took a little spring shopping trip to Chicago recently, and one place I really wanted to stop was Ralph’s Coffee. I’ve seen this cute coffee shop all over Instagram and TikTok for years, so while we were spending the day shopping around downtown Chicago and the Magnificent Mile, it felt like the perfect excuse to finally check it out.

Honestly, it ended up being one of my favorite stops of the whole trip.

A Cute Little Coffee Shop Right on Michigan Avenue

Ralph’s Coffee is located inside the Ralph Lauren Chicago store on Michigan Avenue, and it’s every bit as cute in person as it looks online.

The whole place has that classic Ralph Lauren style with dark green accents, cozy seating, and a really clean, timeless feel. It somehow feels fancy and cozy at the same time without being too over-the-top.

It was also such a nice little break from shopping. We had been walking around downtown for a while, popping into stores along the Magnificent Mile, so stopping for coffee and relaxing for a bit sounded perfect.

What We Ordered

We both ordered a vanilla latte, and it was so good. Not too sweet, super smooth, and honestly exactly what we wanted that afternoon.

One thing about this place is that even the coffee feels aesthetic. The cups, the branding, the whole vibe — everything is just really cute without trying too hard.

If you love finding coffee shops that are fun to visit but also actually have good coffee, this place definitely lives up to the hype.

There are obviously tons of coffee shops in Chicago, but this one just felt extra fun because it was part of the whole experience of the day.

We spent the afternoon shopping, walking around downtown, and enjoying the nice spring weather, and Ralph’s Coffee fit perfectly into the day. It’s one of those places that feels a little special even if you’re only there for a quick coffee stop.

Spring in Chicago Is So Fun

There’s just something about Chicago in the spring. After winter, the city starts feeling busy and alive again, people are out walking around, patios start opening up, and Michigan Avenue feels extra fun for a shopping day.

This trip was honestly one of those simple little getaway days that ends up being really memorable. Nothing overly planned — just shopping, coffee, walking around the city, and enjoying a fun spring day together.

One of my favorite parts about visiting in the spring was seeing all the tulips lining Michigan Avenue. Between the flowers, the nice weather, and everyone out enjoying the city again, downtown Chicago just felt extra pretty this time of year. It made walking around and shopping along the Magnificent Mile even more fun.
